The Barness Family JCC provides cultural, educational and social services for families throughout the Southeast Valley. The JCC provides NAEYC-accredited early childhood programs, from 6 weeks of age through Pre-Kindergarten. Additional programming includes: summer day camp, vacation camps, BBYO, Parenting classes and Parent & Me playgroups, adult and senior programs, cultural and social events, classes, and lectures. The Barness Family JCC is a non-denominational gathering place and welcomes new members from throughout the greater Phoenix area.

The Bureau of Jewish Education is a program-oriented agency, which represents the educational needs of a diverse, pluralistic, and egalitarian community. The Bureau offers a wide range of classes, workshops and conferences to members of the Jewish and non-Jewish community. Programs include adult and high school classes, Israel programs for adults as well as teens, Baby and Marriage University, Training Wheels, Mother's Circle, conversion classes and much more. The Bureau also operates a Jewish Community Library and Resource Center, which is free of charge and open to the community at large.

The Council provides assistance to children and adults who have disabling conditions to enable them to participate in the Jewish community. Last year the Council provided programs to more than 600 individuals. Programs include special education, recreation, support groups, social clubs, Jewish Genetic Diseases Project, national information and referral service and an adult residential program.

The Va’ad is the central agency that oversees compliance with Jewish dietary laws. They represent the kosher consumer and promote kashruth through education, research and supervision.

Hillel serves over 3,000 Jewish students at Arizona State University and also welcomes students from community colleges in the area. Creative programming includes social events and Shabbat and holiday activities, including free Shabbat dinners. Israel events, speakers and trips are offered, as well as Jewish educational, arts and cultural programs. Through Tzedek, an international public service effort sponsored by Hillel, community service opportunities and internships are available. Students at Hillel hang out, talk with Rabbi Lee, nosh, shoot pool, study, make friends and enjoy connecting with Hillel staff members. Hillel represents Jewish communal interests on campus, advocates for students on campus, and promotes their personal and Jewish growth.

Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-sectarian organization that strengthens the community by providing high quality behavioral health and social services to children, families and adults of all ages throughout Maricopa County, in accordance with a Jewish value system. With six locations across the Valley, JFCS provides specialized programs without regard to age, gender, faith, ethnicity or economic status.  In addition to adult and child behavioral health and social services, JFCS also provides Geriatric Services, the Center for Senior Enrichment, Shelter Without Walls domestic violence victim assistance, the Holiday and Helping Hands programs, and the Center for Life Enrichment. The Center For Life Enrichment is devoted to empowering Jewish people of all ages to experience their fullest potential within a spiritual context. Celebrating more than 70 years of community service, JFCS continues to be one of the largest service providers in Arizona.

The Kivel Campus of Care encompasses 226 H.U.D. subsidized independent living apartments for senior adults, and a 30-bed Assisted-Living Facility. Independent Apartment services include cultural and recreational activities, religious services, counseling and kosher meals. The Valley of the Sun JCC builds connections to the Jewish community in a setting that enriches physical, mental and spiritual growth. Executing the age-old tradition of Gemilut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness), the Jewish Free Loan (JFL) helps fellow Jews maintain their dignity by providing interest free loans and respecting their right to privacy and confidentiality. Whether it's the first place people come to for help, or as a last resort, JFL's goal is to enable Jews to become self-supporting members of the community. For 59 years, the Jewish Free Loan has assisted hundreds of individuals and families.
