Join us for an evening of learning and community as author, Israel activist, and Phoenix native Blake Flayton shares highlights from his highly anticipated book, 10 Things Every Jew Should Know Before They Go to College.

Through engaging stories and actionable insights, Blake will explore key topics such as strengthening Jewish identity, confronting misinformation, navigating complex conversations, and building resilience in the face of challenges. This program is designed to empower teens and their families to feel confident in who they are and prepared for the next steps in their journey—whether in high school, college, or beyond.

Following Blake’s presentation, ASU Hillel Assistant Director Taylor Silverman and a panel of college students will offer their personal perspectives, sharing insights into Jewish life on campus and opening the door to meaningful conversations about navigating Jewish identity in today’s world.

The target audience for this event is 8-12 grade students and their parents.

This event is hosted as a partnership between Valley of the Sun JCC, BJE’s Hebrew High, The Center for Jewish Philanthropy, and Hillel at ASU and made possible by the Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix.
