BARREN
A story of secrets, trust, love, and faith. Rabbi Elana Kanter is the Executive Director of the Women’s Leadership Institute and co-rabbi of The New Shul with her husband, Rabbi Michael Wasserman. She is a graduate of Barnard College and a member of the first class including women rabbis at the Jewish Theological Seminary, ordained in 1989. In 1998, Rabbi Kanter also received the Covenant Award for Exceptional Jewish Educators for her work in Adult Jewish Learning.
