Join us JFCS Center for Senior Enrichment and Bruce Pulk with the Phoenix Symphony for a one-hour talk on great symphonic music from Bach to modern times designed for everyone from the musical novice (no experience necessary!) to the skilled professional.

Let’s attach ourselves to Passover and the Easter celebrations by examining musical views on faith separated by 200 years. We’ll compare Mozart (Exultate Jubiliate and the beautiful Ave Verum) to Leonard Bernstein (Chichester Psalms – one of the greatest testaments to faith in our times) and discuss, hear how music has responded to faith. A most inspiring chat.

Bruce Pulk is the Principal Kettle Drum player with the Phoenix Symphony.  This is his 41st season and 9th year of doing Adventures in Great Symphonic and pre-concert Chats.  Bruce has been playing with the Phoenix Symphony for 25 years.
