I Just Wanted to Live: My Grandfather’s Holocaust Journey of Loss and Survival
Presented by Einat Orlev

3G Einat Orlev will share the story of her grandfather, Holocaust survivor Menyo Linder, and his journey from a Polish ghetto to Palestine, where he joined the Jewish Brigade of the British Army.

Einat Orlev was born and raised in a suburb of Jerusalem, Israel. She served as an educational officer in the IDF and holds a master’s degree in Organizational Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

For more than 20 years, she worked as a human resources director and an organizational consultant at leading firms in the technology industry.

After being diagnosed with cancer and making a full recovery, Einat transitioned her career to Holocaust education. She is a graduate student at Arizona State University’s WWII Studies Program, serves as an educational specialist at the Arizona Jewish Historical Society, and is writing the story of her grandfather, a Holocaust survivor from Poland.

The program will be held at the EVJCC with a virtual option available. In partnership with the Phoenix Holocaust Association.
