Hanukkah celebrations at Temple Beth Shalom

Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley hosts Hanukkah activities

Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley, 12202 N. 101st Ave. in Sun City, is hosting Hanukkah celebrations in December.

Here are the highlights:

• Sisterhood Latke (Potato Pancake) Luncheon: Noon Dec. 16, including a musical performance. Cost is $20 with reservations due by Dec. 12.
• Menorah Lighting and Chinese Food: 5 p.m. Dec. 25 is the first night of Hanukkah so Temple Beth Shalom  is having a menorah lighting. Since it’s also  Christmas Day, a group will be going to a Chinese restaurant.
• Hanukkah Potluck Dinner: 5:30 p.m. Dec. 27, followed by Menorah lighting and Shabbat services at the Temple. If you plan to attend, please call the Temple office with the number of people attending and what you’d like to bring for the potluck. You should plan for 12 to 18 people.
