Jewelry to be discussed at Temple Beth Shalom luncheon

Gemologist and Appraiser Lauren Abramowitz will discuss how to determine what jewelry is worth during the Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley Sisterhood’s luncheon.

Abramowitz will talk about what should be done for an appraisal. She will explain how to divide items between family members and what values are given to specific items. She also will go over diamonds, gems and pearls. In addition, she will discuss items to look out for, including large liquidations of personal collections that may have issues. Bring your questions and be prepared for an informative discussion with Abramowitz.
