Please join us for the Lion of Judah Reception featuring Rabbi Laura Geller.
Rabbi Laura Geller, Rabbi Emerita of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, was the fourth woman ordained as a rabbi in the United States. She is an innovator and social activist and was twice named one of Newsweek’s 50 Most Influential Rabbis in America. Rabbi Geller served as the Director of Hillel of University of Southern California for 14 years and was the Pacific Southwest Region’s Executive Director of the American Jewish Congress for four years. She was featured in the PBS documentary “Jewish Americans.” Rabbi Geller co-authored the book Getting Good at Getting Older, teaching u how to embrace each stage of our lives with a sense of adventure.
Event will take place at a private home, address provided upon RSVP.
– Drinks and heavy appetizers will be provided. Dietary laws will be observed.
