A new course for women, “TO BElieve OR NOT TO BElieve in YOURSELF: Achieving Self-Mastery,” will introduce you to the Tanya, a 225-year-old text whose portrayal of human psychology in general, and of our inner spiritual composition in particular, remains as revolutionary—and as refreshing—as ever.

This November, the Rosh Chodesh Society (RCS)—the women’s division of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI)—launches its latest course, TO BElieve OR NOT TO BElieve in YOURSELF, slated to run in over 250 locations across the globe. Through this seven-part series, you will come to understand the sources of guilt, conflict, and confusion, and find useful practical strategies for developing joy, purpose, direction, and perseverance in everyday life. And as you proceed, Tanya’s comprehensive, multifaceted system of self-betterment will guide you to positive change to truly believe in yourself and in your journey toward self-mastery.

“Tanya is the one-size-fits-all manual that has revolutionized the way we think about G-d, the human soul, the world, and our place in it,” says RCS director Mrs. Shaindy Jacobson. “We all yearn to be the best we can be and to believe in ourselves. The kabbalah-based tools Tanya presents help us understand ourselves in order to better regulate how we think and feel, and ultimately emerge victorious from life’s inner struggles.”

The course will be taught once per month for seven consecutive months and is designed for women at all levels of Jewish knowledge.

“TO Believe OR NOT TO Believe in YOURSELF grapples with the nature of perfection, and questions whether perfection is even possible. It describes the process of personal change and the struggles that can complicate this process: loss of motivation, lack of progress, and reversion to old habits among them,” says Mrs. Tzipi Lipskier of Fountain Hills. “Tanya’s comprehensive system of self-betterment is multifaceted, depicting change on the behavioral level as well as deep internal changes of attitudes and personality. I invite you to join me on this remarkable, deeply impactful road of self-discovery.”

The Rosh Chodesh Society is an international Jewish sisterhood that aims to connect, empower, and inspire Jewish women through monthly Jewish learning and cultural experiences.  Mrs. Lipskier of Chabad of Fountain Hills will be teaching TO BE or NOT TO BE at the Chabad Edelman Jewish Center once monthly starting on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p,m.
