Temple Beth Shalom presents Mahjongg tournament Nov. 17

Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley will host its fall fundraiser Mahjongg Tournament from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Palmbrook Country Club, 9350 W. Greenway Road in Sun City.

Cost is $55 per player payable by check, and that includes a full taco bar lunch and homemade dessert bar. Tournament play, which begins at 10 a.m., will include four rounds with cash prizes and a chance to win at special hands. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and players need to be in their seats by 9:45 a.m.

A silent auction also will be featured with payment by check or cash only on the day of the event.

To participate in the tournament, the registration form and payment must be received by Nov. 1. The registration form is available to  fill out and submit on tbsaz.org and forms are also in the Temple lobby. For more information, contact the Temple office at 623.977.3240 between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday or email templebethaz@gmail.com. Checks for $55 per person should be made out to Temple Beth Shalom and dropped off at the Temple office or mailed to Judi Bourd, 22118 N. Arrellaga Dr., Sun City West, AZ 85375 by Nov. 1.
