Our name, Shomrei Torah, means “Guardians of the Torah”. We accomplish this as a caring traditional egalitarian synagogue where each member is valued. As Guardians, we carry the Torah forward at our weekly Shabbat Service where we daven, learn and celebrate joyously under the leadership of Hazzan Bernard Savitz.
If you are a snow-bird from the colder parts, or recently moved to the Phoenix area, you are always welcome at Shomrei Torah to continue your Jewish connection in your travels or relocation.
Being a smaller congregation, we provide the unique opportunity to offer interactive services where we check in with each other and celebrate Kiddush which our members have made or bring a fruit or sweet.
Come participate and you will join us in being a Guardian of the Torah in celebrating Shabbat or the Haggim.
