The Jewish Agency’s longstanding mission is to inspire Jews throughout the world to connect with their people, heritage, and Land, and empower them to build a thriving Jewish future with a strong Israel. We work to ensure that every Jewish person feels an unbreakable bond to one another and to Israel no matter where they are in the world, so that they can continue to play their critical role in our ongoing Jewish story. The Jewish Agency adopted a strategic plan revolving around three focus areas:
· ALIYAH: Jewish Agency helps any Jew make their home in Israel. We facilitate and encourage both Aliyah of rescue and Aliyah of choice. From the moment any Jewish person starts to consider Aliyah, we are there for them, providing pre-Aliyah guidance and post-Aliyah programs to help them acclimate. Each year, we help tens of thousands of new olim on their Aliyah journey.
· CONNECTING JEWS WORLDWIDE: We support and operate initiatives to keep the Jewish People connected to each other, with the outcome that every Jew feels an unbreakable bond to one another and to Israel. We also work within Israeli society to ensure Israel is a homeland that represents all of world Jewry.
· ISRAELI SOCIETY: The Jewish Agency is committed to leveraging the power of our collective impact to bring about systemic change in Israel. We invest in enhancing Israelis’ knowledge of, and commitment to, the global Jewish people, as well as in building communities’ resilience so Israel flourishes, and in cultivating Israel’s future leaders.
