Camp Solel has officially ended and we have had a wonderful camp this summer. We were able to bring the AZ Puppet Theater, Deb’s Dragon’s, Funny Magic for Kid’s and Toy Story of Event for some special performances.
We are getting ready for another year of playing, growing and learning at The Solel Preschool beginning August 10th!
A few tips to help get ready for the new school year:
– Establish a routine of “early to bed “ and “school wake-up time” before school begins so your child has time to adjust to the new schedule.
– Get appropriate gear for your preschooler. Let your child pick out a new backpack and together write their name on it.
– Give your child a personal belonging of yours like a favorite scarf or bandana so they know you will come back to get it.
– Talk and read about school. Share how much fun you had in school and answer any questions they might have.
– Create/ practice a goodbye ritual for school drop off.
– Listen to your child’s worries or concerns.
