American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) is excited to welcome social media influencer, Lizzy Savetsky (@lizzysavetsky), to speak in Scottsdale, Arizona at an exclusive event on April 23, 2023.
Lizzy will be discussing the disturbing rise in antisemitism around the world (and especially in the USA), the role social media plays in supporting Israel, and the ways that each of us can make an impact.
Lizzy Savetsky is a digital influencer with a passion for Jewish life, Israel, matchmaking, and fashion. She was slated to be on the highly anticipated “Real Housewives of New York” in 2022. Unfortunately, she made the difficult decision to leave the show as filming was still underway, due to a backlash of anti-Semitic comments received after her involvement was announced. Lizzy is best known for sharing her journey of fashionable Jewish motherhood on her social media channels, often featuring her two young daughters and her baby boy. She is an outspoken advocate for Israel and the Jewish people. Lizzy is proud to have served as the Honorary Grand Marshal for the 2022 Celebrate Israel Parade.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Magen David Adom (MDA). MDA is Israel’s national paramedic and Red Cross service. A leader in mass-casualty response and EMS technology, MDA treats and transports almost 1 million people to hospitals every year; collects, safety tests, and distributes nearly all the blood to Israel’s hospitals; and, through its affiliation with the Red Cross movement, responds to disasters around the world.
