The first Friday of every month from 5pm-9pm, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix offers free admission. Kids up to age 10 can enjoy a ton of hands-on exhibits that help them discover their creativity. The Heard Museum has been recognized internationally for the quality of its collections, world-class exhibitions, educational programming and its unmatched festivals. The museum features art and stories of American Indian people from a first-person perspective and showcases the beauty and vitality of traditional and contemporary art, which you can check out for free every first Friday of the month (exept March) from 6-10pm and the fourth Sunday of the month (June-September) from 11am-5pm. A perfect spot for car lovers to explore, the Penske Racing Museum showcases more than a dozen Penske team race cars, medals and memorabilia. Open to the public and always free of charge, the museum also chronicles the sport of racing for visitors to learn more about the history of racing.
