Shir is a young singer / songwriter from Scottsdale. She started writing songs in her bedroom with her guitar at 14 years old, and she wrote every single day.

Songwriting let her escape into her own world where she could dream and her imagination was limitless.

Shir taps into sincere storytelling in her new single, “Conversations With Myself,” an emotional ballad. She wants listeners to feel empowered to accept every aspect of themselves — even the parts that they don’t want anyone else to see.

At the root of it, “Conversations With Myself” is about confronting the voice inside your head that tells you “you aren’t good enough” or “pretty enough” or “thin enough to wear those jeans,” Shir said.

“When people hear the song, I want them to know that they don’t need anyone else’s permission to celebrate and embrace who they are,” she said.

The song is available on iTunes, Spotify, and all digital retailers Friday, October 13th, 2022.
