This past Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Phoenix Zoo radiated with community spirit and the glow of thousands of lights as we celebrated Jewish Community Night at ZooLights. The evening brought together more than 400 attendees of all ages to enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with music, Hanukkah crafts, face painting, glow-in-the-dark games, and a meaningful community Havdalah ceremony led by BBYO teens.

The Center for Jewish Philanthropy hosted this unforgettable event, creating a vibrant and welcoming space for families and friends to unite in celebration of the holiday season. Guests were greeted by volunteers who guided them into a private area alive with festive activities and joyful energy.

One of the night’s highlights was the delightful face painting by Storybook Entertainment, generously sponsored by Jewish Free Loan. Talented artists transformed children’s faces into playful masterpieces, adding a touch of magic to the celebration.

Sapir, Greater Phoenix’s shlichah, added to the excitement by hosting Hanukkah trivia games that tested everyone’s knowledge.
