Nearly 600 people from our Jewish community gathered at The Phoenix Zoo on Saturday, December 17, 2022, to experience ZooLights.
Participants enjoyed a wonderful Havdalah program led by Rabbi Aviva Funke from the Bureau of Jewish Education as well as fun Hanukkah-themed activities from Pardes, PJ Library, and BJE. Special thank you to Erez Kessler for providing festive Hanukkah music and youth director Sarah Bochenek for coordinating the teen scavenger hunt.
Feedback from the event has been wonderful and community members are already excited to join again in next year’s event.
