The Center for Jewish Philanthropy’s NowGen is thrilled to announce a unique and exciting opportunity to hear from Critics Choice award-winning and Emmy-nominated Hollywood producer, Arthur Smith, at this year’s NowGen fall speaker event on November 7th at the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus.
Arthur Smith, the mastermind behind some of TV’s longest-running unscripted series, such as Hell’s Kitchen and American Ninja Warrior, will share pivotal moments from his groundbreaking career in the television industry. Smith’s influence spans across genres, and his shows have not only entertained millions but also shaped the landscape of reality TV. This event promises to provide an inside look at his journey from young sports producer to leading a Hollywood production empire.
As part of the evening, Smith will discuss his new book REACH: Hard Lessons and Learned Truths from a Lifetime in Television, where he dives deep into behind-the-scenes stories from some of television’s most iconic moments. His book captures the essence of how hard work, determination, and risk-taking led him to create some of the most innovative and beloved TV programs. Whether you’re a fan of his shows, fascinated by Hollywood, or simply love compelling stories of ambition and success, you won’t want to miss this. Smith’s discussion will provide a glimpse into his approach to life and business, encouraging the audience to consider how they, too, can “reach” for their dreams.
A core element of NowGen’s mission is to create opportunities for young adults to develop into future leaders while growing Jewishly, professionally, and personally. This year’s event is especially significant, offering young adults in our community the unique opportunity to engage with a true visionary in the entertainment industry. Additionally, the event will serve as the mid-year gathering for participants in NowGen’s Leadership and Advancement Series (LAS), who will enjoy a special reception with Arthur Smith.
Don’t miss this chance to hear from one of Hollywood’s most influential producers. Join the NowGen community on November 7th at 7 p.m. to experience a night of inspiration, wisdom, and engaging conversation.
