We are buzzing with excitement to share some thrilling news that’s going to light up our summer and beyond. You might have heard the whispers, but we’re here to officially announce a groundbreaking professional development series brought to you by the Center for Jewish Philanthropy! This series is all about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone, from every walk of life, feels valued and supported.
Why This Matters
One of CJP’s key missions this year is to foster a community where everyone, including those with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, mixed-heritage families, Jews of color, and other marginalized groups, feels a true sense of belonging. We believe that every single person in our community deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
What’s Happening?
We’ve put together a series of professional development sessions called “Creating a Space of Belonging.” These sessions are designed to equip our community partners with the tools and knowledge they need to make our community more inclusive and welcoming. The best part? We’re bringing in top-notch experts from both national and local levels to guide us through this journey.

Join Us!
We are calling on one staff member and one lay leader from each organization to participate in these enriching sessions. Each organization could send different staff members and lay leaders to different sessions to make it work with everyone’s calendars. By joining forces, we can ensure that the impact of our learning extends throughout our entire community. And don’t worry – everyone who participates will be invited to the culminating in-person event in November!
Mark your calendars, register for the first session, and get ready to embark on this transformative journey with us. Let’s make the Greater Phoenix Jewish community a place where everyone truly belongs.
