The Center for Jewish Philanthropy’s Business & Professionals network hosted a networking event and lively discussion on April 17 on the topic of artificial intelligence. Experts and attendees discussed the latest trends like Chat GPT and the ethics of using AI in our business and personal lives.

Maria Crimi Speth, internet law and intellectual property attorney and partner at Jaburg Wilk, along with Igor Ilyinsky, tech entrepreneur, inventor, speaker and co-founder of ListenUp, led the discussion about what the future holds for the technology as well as how the law is trying to catch up to the growth in this field. Guests were able to ask questions about the trends, their privacy and how to use the technology in a way that is not only ethical but can actually improve productivity.

To end the evening, Rabbi Effie Loffman from The Phoenix Community Kollel spoke about what the Torah says about technology and ownership and how it relates to the topic of artificial intelligence. Attendees left full of information (and maybe even more questions!) and some great connections.

Check out some of the photos from the event, and join the Business & Professionals community on Facebook for upcoming events and a chance to connect to other Jewish professionals.
