On Thursday evening, March 13th members of the Jewish community celebrated the holiday of Purim at the Chabad Edelman Jewish Center in Fountain Hills.  Every year the Center holds a merry Purim Party with an international theme, which this year was “Purim in Greece.”  Festivities included a traditional reading of the Book of Esther, a living Greek statue, a bazookie player, a clay sculpture craft table, an olive tasting station, “Olympic Games” and a huge buffet of Greek delicacies.  A silent auction also featured many desirable items generously donated by individuals and the local business community.  A wonderful time was had by all!
