Hebrew High’s Registration for 2023-24 is open! Register before July 15th and get the early bird discount!

For more than 50 years, Hebrew High’s award-winning program continues to provide Jewish teens a place to explore their Jewish identity, engage in important and meaningful conversations, volunteer and serve the community, and build strong, long-lasting relationships.

Teens in grades 9-12 gather Tuesday nights 7-9pm at the Ina Levine JCC in Scottsdale to take specialized classes and engage in unique Jewish programming. Most nights, teens take 2 classes:

[Block A] Grade-level Seminar or Hebrew for Credit*

[Block B] Student’s Choice Electives

Hebrew for Credit students also come Thursdays 7-8:30pm

Jews Around the World

9TH/10TH Grade Seminar

JEWS AROUND THE WORLD

Discover the rich diversity of Jewish life from around the world! Students will travel to India, Morocco, Ethiopia and beyond to tastes the foods and experience the rituals and customs that make Judaism a dynamic tapestry. This class will gain a deep understanding of the Sephardi, Mizrakhi and Ashkenazi Jewish life.

11TH/12TH Grade Seminar

COMPARATIVE RELIGIONS 

Curious about the beliefs of other religions? This exciting seminar gives students a chance to meet and engage with religious leaders from a variety of different faiths, while providing opportunities to ask questions, expand their knowledge, and compare religious views. Through the exploration of other religions, students will have a chance to examine their own relationship to faith, heritage and Jewish identity.
