Martin-Springer Institute at Northern Arizona University
The Martin-Springer Institute, founded by Holocaust survivor Doris (nee Springer) and her husband Ralph Martin, brings, works to bring the experiences of the Holocaust into sharp focus in order to understand those events in the context of today’s concerns and crises. We seek to use public presentations, exhibits, teacher training, symposia and special events to apply the insights and lessons of the past to current conflicts—including the treatment of refugees, mass violence, and genocide.
