Moving from Welcoming to Belonging: Interfaith Family Engagement and Empowerment

You most likely interact with interfaith families daily. They make up a majority of Jewish families forming today and overwhelmingly feel like they don’t belong in the Jewish community. You are critical in changing that narrative. You provide vital services, create community, and offer educational experiences for all ages. Join Adam Pollack, 18Doors‘ Chief Program Officer, in this highly-interactive workshop to learn more about interfaith families, their experiences with Jewish life, how their needs differ from Jewish-Jewish families and what you can do to make them see there is a place for them in the Jewish community.

This enlightening virtual event is part of CJP’s “Creating a Space for Belonging” professional development series and is tailored for professionals and lay leaders working within the Jewish community in the Greater Phoenix area. Presented by 18Doors, this program is designed for Jewish clergy, professionals and lay leaders who are looking to deepen their ability to engage mixed-heritage (interfaith) couples & families in their organizations.
