2024 Yom HaShoah Commemoration

Please join the Phoenix Holocaust Association (PHA) at its annual community-wide Yom HaShoah observance on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus.

3:00pm: “Memories Among the Generations”
4:00pm: Community-wide Yom HaShoah Commemoration

Prior to the commemoration ceremony, hear from survivors and descendants about their memories of their life during the war and reflections on their parents and loved ones. The Commemoration will include a procession of survivors, candle lighting in memory of the 6 million Jewish people killed during World War II, presentation of the annual Shofar Zakhor Awards to recognize those who educate the community about the Holocaust, and musical pieces organized by Cantor Dannah Rubinstein of Congregation Or Tzion.
