ROSE
In this life-affirming French drama, Rose has no clue how to navigate her life after suddenly losing her husband at age 78. Then a chance meeting at a dinner party reawakens her joie de vivre. Her grown children are totally disarmed as Rose begins to pursue forgotten aspirations. Laced with Sephardic music and food, Rose draws on the author’s Tunisian Jewish roots and features a marvelous performance by Françoise Fabian, one of France’s top actresses.
