- Saul Birnbaum never dreamed he’d fall in love this late in life. Saul is the vivacious owner of a Jewish deli in 1987 Brussels, where he runs a regular Hollywood movie trivia for patrons and imitates Hollywood stars. Saul is also a Holocaust survivor – saved by the Kindertransport – who has hired a young Chilean writer to create a screenplay of Saul’s life. Then film lover Hannah walks into the restaurant, and they fall in love – until he learns she holds a secret that shakes him to the core.
