• A gripping love story set in 1940’s Italy. Luciano, a restauranteur and emotionally suppressed WWI veteran, finds his complacent life shaken when Anna, a young woman fleeing Mussolini’s fascists begs him for a job. Luciano has always cooperated with the fascists. Despite learning that Anna is Jewish, he falls desperately in love with her until a volatile stranger shows up, creating an impossible love triangle.
