Odessa klezmer musical performance

The musical group Odessa will present a live perfomance during the Dec. 12 Tuesdays at the J.

The program starts at 10 a.m. with refreshments and conversation, the performance starts at 10:30 a.m.

The group was named after the city Odessa in the Ukraine, a hotspot of Klezmer music for centuries and birthplace of the grandparents of the band’s founder, Stu Siefer. We hope you enjoy Odessa’s interpretation of this Jewish “soul music,” including its intersection with Yiddish theater music and jazz.
