YOM HASHOAH GUEST SPEAKER LORI REDMAN

Lori Redman has been in education for the past 30 years in both the U.S. and abroad. In 2022 Lori worked to get a Holocaust and Genocide Studies course approved for the Chandler Unified School District and in 2024 the Chandler High School will open their first section of this course.  The past 2 years she has worked with the Martin Springer Institue to have their traveling exhibit, Through the Eyes of Youth in both the Chandler High School and The Chandler Center for the Arts. This has allowed more than 1,500 people to view the exhibit. Her presentation will focus on the Oneg Shabbos group organized by Emanuel Ringleblum in the Warsaw Ghetto.  This group wanted to preserve the memories, thoughts, photographs and identities of the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto.
