“Leonardo da Vinci and the Power of Observation” is the subject of the Nov. 14 Tuesdays at the J presentation by Phoenix Art Museum docent Patrick Ventura.

What makes Leonardo da Vinci’s art so compelling? He painted the most famous and beloved painting the world has ever seen. We will explore how his scientific observations and inventions influenced his artwork. His paintings capture virtually everyone’s imagination and affection. One need not be an art expert to know and love his work. We will take a “deep dive” into one of his most compelling portraits: “The Lady with an Ermine.”
