Moving Forward into Awe with Susan Brooks

Awe is fuel. Awe wakes up every cell to feel more, see more, live more in the present moment. Awe begins with an open mind of curiosity that keeps you learning, growing. When was the last time you tried something new for the first time?  Having more awe-inspiring experiences is good for your happiness…and your nervous and immune system. Awe builds your sense of connection and aliveness. Best of all, awe is easily accessible…it’s all around us every moment of every day.  We’re new at growing old. Our wisdom begins with wonder. And, yes, we have to BE BRAVE to overcome our fears along the way. It is a choice that ‘changes the face of aging.’  This 6-week class provides tools, exercises, and a loving support group that gently encourages improved mental health and greater life satisfaction.Class will be held: 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25. 5/2 and 5/9  from 10am-Noon at Valley of the Sun JCC Susan Brooks is 77 years young, and proud of it!   Yes, I’m still a hippie from the 60’s. I marched for civil rights for all humans, especially equal rights for women, waving my bra with the best. I was an award-winning woman business owner when there were but a few of us. Still growing in a 57 year old marriage, I survived motherhood, and so did my now-adult children.  Trailblazer that I am, and always will be, this Program nurtures and champions women on their re-wiring journey!
