When she was a 2-year-old child, Marie’s mother “gifted” her to her infertile sister to raise, a custom common to Moroccan Jewish culture of the time. Now a grown woman, Marie travels from France to Israel to marry her childhood sweetheart and to confront her family. A wonderful film of hidden wounds, strong women, and forgiveness.
