Imagine this: you are sitting at home with your teenage daughter, enjoying a Sunday morning coffee. You think it would be lovely to spend some quality time with her, and you suggest you go out to volunteer somewhere. Her eyes light up as she suggests the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry! After all, all her friends will be there, too.

Here at the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry, people from all races, backgrounds and faiths come to get groceries, completely free of charge. Our top-tier volunteers are sensitive to all needs and are more than willing to accommodate special requests. No one is turned away empty handed.

Andrea Cohen of the Center for Jewish Philanthropy coordinated with Daniel Gilkarov and Laura Liebhaber to create a beautiful volunteering event on Sunday, March 10th. The mothers and daughters who gathered at the Kosher Food Pantry packaged 168 fully cooked meals for the unsheltered and people in need in our community. These delicious meals consisted of salmon wraps, mixed fruit cups with oatmeal crumb on the side, not to mention the extra goodies and snacks included.
