A Parent & Teen Program to shatter the stigma around Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Awareness in partnership with JFCS & Kid in the Corner
 
This program is open and free for all Jewish high schoolers and their parents.  You might not be struggling, but your friends may be. Come gain helpful insights to support either yourself or the ones you love. Facilitated by Rabbi Aviva Funke of Hebrew High at the BJE.

6:45 – Doors open
7:00 Welcome & Presentation from Francine Sumner, founder of Kid in the Corner on Shattering the Stigma – learn about impact of suicide and how to be a support for others
8:00 Breakout Groups with JFCS – Teens – finding light in dark moments, strengthening compassion for ourselves & each other // Parents – supporting our teens and ourselves, warning signs & where to turn
8:40 Final thoughts and take-aways
