Join the 27th Annual Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival virtually for an online screening of the fascinating documentary, The Longest Journey: The Jews of Rhodes.

This film is only available to view virtually within Arizona.

The 2,000-year-old Jewish community of Rhodes was almost entirely decimated during the Holocaust. Italian neighbors watched as the Nazis deported its 1,800 Jewish residents to Auschwitz in July 1944, where few survived. Three of these survivors return to describe the life that once thrived there. After the war, few Italian Jews returned to Rhodes as it was now considered part of Greece. The film includes interviews with Stella Levi, the subject of the 2022 acclaimed book by Michael Frank Stella Levi and the Search for a Lost World, one of the Wall Street Journal’s Top 10 Books of the Year.

Paired with the film:  MASEL TOV COCKTAIL
