7:00 pm Dessert Reception and Program: What is your 3-Ingredient Recipe for a Good Life? As we prepare for the New Year, what rises to the top as the most important values or life lessons to keep in mind? Come hear Temple Solel members Tobee Waxenberg, Steve Gerst and Annais Sonder as they share their answers to this thought-provoking question. We will then have a chance to write and share our own answers and hear from others about theirs.
Selichot Service to follow in our sanctuary with Rabbi John Linder, Rabbi Debbie Stiel and Cantorial Soloist Todd Herzog.
8:00 pm Selichot Service in the Sanctuary: Together we will welcome the last week before Rosh Hashanah with Havdalah, changing the Torah mantles to white, and a beautiful, evocative, musical Selichot service. Come get your first taste of the High Holy Day melodies, accompanied by piano, cello, choir, and the sound of the shofar.
