The Arizona Jewish Historical Society (AZJHS) is excited to introduce the 1st Annual Oskar Knoblauch TikTok Competition for Arizona high students.
Using oral history testimonies from Arizona survivors, students are asked to create a 3-minute TikTok video to educate viewers about the Holocaust.
The AZJHS Oskar Knoblauch TikTok Competition accepts entries from Arizona students in grades 9-12. Students may submit work a single entry into a chosen category:
- Role Play/Acting
- Oral Presentation/Poetry Recitation
- Music performance
- Interview
- Art/photography
Each entry must include an oral history from one of the collections. All qualifying work will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of Holocaust educators. Rubric will be based on 60% Historical Relevance, 20% Creativity, & 20% Presentation.
Deadline for Entries: March 28, 2023, 11:59 pm EST. Students will be awarded up to 3rd place!
