ABOUT THE EVENT:
For the 7th year, Chanukah in Carefree will host its nightly holiday celebration including menorah lighting and Chanukah songs for all eight nights of Chanukah. The event will take place from Thursday 12/7 to Thursday 12/14, starting each night at 5:30 pm in the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion in Carefree, AZ. Each evening there is a program hosted by a different organization and many nights will feature Chanukah delicacies like latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly donuts). Coffee and hot chocolate will be served every night. The celebration will feature raffles and silent auction items that have been generously donated by the local business community to help to raise money and awareness for the Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation (CCUEF), who is this year’s Spirit of Giving recipient. This year Chanukah in Carefree is generously supported by the Center for Jewish Philanthropy, Kiwanis, APS, Spirit in the Desert, and Temple Chai.
