The JCRC is a Baord Member of the Arizona Faith Network (AFN). AFN is hiring Heat Respite Aid workers with multiple open positions
Numerous positions are currently open (as of August 2023) as Heat Respite Site Lead and Heat Respite Site Assistant. The purpose of these roles is to assist the local Heat Relief Respite Centers in receiving community members and reporting, coordinating, and implementing Arizona Faith Network’s summer Heat Relief Respite Center program needs for the community members:
–The Heat Respite Site Lead (HRSL) supports the local heat relief and respite centers in receiving community members and reporting, coordinating, and implementing Arizona Faith Network’s summer heat relief and respite center program needs for the community members. The HRSL will work with the AFN Community Resilience Manager and Executive Director to manage the assigned participating heat relief and respite center. (3-4 positions open)
–The purpose of the Heat Respite Site Assistant (HRSA) is to assist the local Heat Relief Respite Center Assistant in receiving community members and reporting, coordinating, and implementing Arizona Faith Network’s summer Heat Relief Respite Center program needs for the community members. (4-8 positions open)
Positions will be through the end of September with a possible extension through October.
