The Lone Soldier Project, East Valley JCC supports Lone Soldiers on active duty in the IDF in partnership with three Lone Soldier Centers in Israel. We also educate the population of Arizona about the vital role these courageous young adults play in the defense of the Jewish Homeland. The needs of Lone Soldiers have dramatically escalated with the combat required for the war with Hamas. They are all in harm’s way!! At this time of the year, we conduct a Hanukkah Greeting Campaign at 40 sites around the state. This year, of course, this effort has been modified to include our prayers for their safety and welfare.
You are invited to send a message to a Lone Soldier by:

- Visit evjcc.org/greetings to upload your message by clicking “Write a Letter or Upload Artwork” Start your message with “Name.”
- Send your message in an email to lonesoldiers@evjcc.org
These messages will be bundled and sent to our 3 Lone Soldier Centers in Israel, to arrive by Hanukkah. We pray that the situation in Israel will stabilize by then to allow celebration of the holiday and to read our messages.
