Our local Jewish community is gearing up for a remarkable event that will blend the love for baseball with the vibrant spirit of Jewish life in Phoenix. On August 27, 2023, the Arizona Diamondbacks will host Jewish Community Day at Chase Field, as they face the Cincinnati Reds creating an unforgettable experience that celebrates Jewish culture, unity, and tradition. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or simply eager to enjoy an afternoon with local community members, this event is one you won’t want to miss.

Sponsored by Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix and Media Sponsor Jewish News, organizations across the community are joining in for what is sure to be a home run community-wide celebration.

“Jewish Community Day with the Diamondbacks will be more than just a baseball game; it will be an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate,” shared Director of Community Engagement at CJP Jennifer Starrett who is helping to coordinate the details of the day. “From the moment you step foot in Chase Field, you’ll feel the unity and excitement that comes from being together at a baseball game.”

Tickets for the game vary depending on location and range from $20-$58. Kids 15 and younger receive a discounted $15 ticket with the purchase of one adult ticket and a free upgrade. All tickets include a free Jewish Community Day Diamondbacks in Hebrew hat giveaway (limited quantity available), and there will be a variety of activities located throughout the stadium for all ages to enjoy. Ticket holders can purchase kosher hamburgers and hotdogs from Mazon Tov on Wheels, AZ Kosher Food Pantry’s food truck before heading into the game, and enjoy hearing the Star-Spangled Banner at the start of the game featuring local Jewish youth from across our community.

To be a part of this extraordinary celebration, visit the official Arizona Diamondbacks website at dbacks.com/jewish. Be sure to secure your tickets early, as this event is anticipated to be in high demand. Don’t miss your chance to join in the festivities and witness the coming together of sports, culture, and community.
