In today’s world, where diversity is celebrated and differences are acknowledged, it is disheartening to witness the persistence of antisemitism and prejudice against Jewish communities. Understanding and addressing these issues is more crucial than ever as Israel has entered war with Hamas and the world has failed to show unwavering support for the Jewish people.

To shed light on this pressing matter, Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix, in partnership with The Bureau of Jewish Education and Anti-Defamation League, is honored to host an upcoming event on Monday evening, October 23, 2023, featuring the insightful and passionate Ben M. Freeman, an advocate for Jewish pride and understanding.

As Ben recently shared in an opinion piece in The Jerusalem Post, “There is no time for ambiguity. There is Israel. There is Jewishness. And there is the fight to protect both.”

Ben, a respected figure in the fight against antisemitism, has been tirelessly working towards fostering a sense of Jewish pride and unity. His efforts have ignited important conversations about Jewish identity, the state of Israel, and combating prejudice. With his extensive knowledge and dedication, Freeman has become a leading voice in advocating for understanding, acceptance, and pride within the Jewish community.

As the world witnesses ongoing events in Israel, it is essential to approach the situation with empathy, knowledge, and a commitment to dialogue. By understanding the complexities of the region, we can work towards fostering peace and harmony. Two concurrent moderated discussions will be held at 6PM for adults and 7PM for teens and his talk aims to provide attendees with a nuanced perspective on the current events in Israel, encouraging open discussions and promoting mutual understanding. Ben will share his personal journey, insights, and strategies for turning adversity into strength.

Now more than ever, it is imperative to stand together against antisemitism and discrimination. We invite you to join us on October 23, 2023 at 6pm at the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus in Scottsdale for a compelling discussion that seeks to empower, educate, and foster a stronger sense of Jewish pride and unity. Together, we can create a future where understanding and acceptance prevail, ensuring a world free from prejudice and discrimination.
